1999 - 2003  Gothic of Whitfield

Gothic was a bull very well suited to market conditions.  To the eye he was a very powerful bull with muscling comparable to the best continental bulls.  He was also a very correct alert bull with plenty of breed character.  Calves sired by him have the growth rate required for profitable suckled calf production.     His females are very feminine, good milkers and have excellent temperaments.

Troy is a son of the outstanding performance cow Tibbie 1Z.   He has sired most of the best breeding cow we have.  He has MVF Tibbie 15T on both sides of his pedigree.

1994 - 1998         Nightingale Pears R25

Pears was an easy calving bull with a good  locomotion.    His full sister Nightingale Pride of Pershore S44 has bred many bulls that have been sold as stock bulls to other pedigree herds.   Fatstock steers sire by Pears grossed £200 more per head when reared and sold alongside those sired by Ushaw Bard

TAF Pride 39S his dam was a feature of the World Angus Forum in Canada and was purchased by a syndicate. ZAF Administrator is well recognised in Britain as the sire of Windover Justifier. See reference to Hogan 3Y.

1996 - 97     Nightingale Tennison U18

Tennison was a promising young bull who sadly died of tetanus after siring only a few dozen calves. His dam Tibbie 1Z was undefeated heifer champion at Edmonton Agribition and Brandon and became all Canadian show female of the year.  We have also used a son for Tennison, a maternal brother, a full brother of his dam on AI and we have a maternal sister.

1992 - 95     Ushaw Bard M10

Ushaw Bard was a very easy fleshing bull. He sired numerous bulls used in commercial herds and his steers achieved very high grades. Bard is a much more traditional type.   His females were not of the consistent quality that we require.  However, in February 2004 at the Perth Bull Sales a bull out of a Bard daughter was sold for 28,000 guineas.

Dutchman's sire KBJ Conan 17W was a enormous bull who sired large well fleshed cattle. His mother KBJ Duchess 66W is from a famous family.  Dutchman daughters have made such superior breeding cows that we are line breeding to his dams family.
